I'm Santo "Gunny" Grasso, 25 Year Biker, Former 1%er, Ordained Minister, and Freedom Connection Ministry Leader.
This Ministry was established as an Outreach to help others who are struggling with various challenges in Life, without being judged.
After accepting Christ in 2011 and realizing that if God could use someone like me to bring others to Him, then I wanted to pay it forward by teaching others how to open their hearts and use their life stories.
I learned quickly by sharing my personal Testimony, that God was allowing me to connect freely with people of all ages, who were dealing with heavy emotions derived from Bullying, PTSD, Homelessness, Drug & Alcohol Addictions, Anger Management, Suicide Prevention, & Domestic Violence.

On March 29th, 2023, God woke me up!
I knew He had more for me here on Earth and I was willing to seek His purpose.
In June of 2024, I entered my Harley motorcycle in Freedom Connection Ministry’s “Anything with Wheels Car, Truck & Bike show” in Woodstock. After the event, Gunny & I gained a friendship that became more like brothers and have been inseparable ever since.
I started attending the monthly gatherings every 2nd Thursday night and realized I wasn’t alone in the obstacles I faced in my past. I grew up in a multi-abusive home and started self-medicating at a very young age with alcohol and drugs. This continued into adulthood and contributed to my struggle with anger management.
In the last year and a half, I have chosen sobriety, my Family, and spending time showing my Harley at Bike Shows over choosing to cope with Life the way I used to. After allowing God to work in my life and Gunny sharing His ministry with me, I have been able to find ways to overcome my daily internal battles and be a better Family man to my wife of 35 years, 3 children, and 3 grandkids.
Being a part of an Outreach Ministry like Freedom Connection is an important part of my life now, as it has allowed me to heal from hardships in my past, gain new friends and be able to support others who are struggling just as I did. Looking forward to seeing the ministry do the same for others!

Having grown up in a Christian home, I learned the Bible and attended Church from a young age. The problem was that I only had a relationship with religion. And although I confessed the truths of the Bible and considered myself a believer, most of the time my walk with The Lord was more of a walk in the opposite direction of his presence.
Jesus says, "you will know them by their fruit" and "if you love me, you will keep my commands." Based on my lifestyle and actions, my fruit was rotten and I didn't love the Lord.
I did however love the world and everything I could gain from it. I was an enemy of God. By God's grace though, He transformed my heart and led me to truth in The Spirit.
My objective in this Ministry is to encourage and uplift others, and alternatively, share the dangers of living a lukewarm lifestyle or going against God's will for your life. You too can find freedom in Christ! I look forward to sharing the good news of the Gospel with Gunny and team!
